THE PROCESS

CAPRITTY LLC is a Textile Company located in the industrial area of Pico Rivera in Southern California.
Check out the process of each type of printing we are expert in

SILK SCREEN PRINTING

There are 7 steps to create a silk screen printing
  1. The design is created
  2. The screen is prepared
  3. The emulsion is exposed
  4. The emulsion is washed off, creating the stencil
  5. The item is prepared for print
  6. The ink is pressed through the screen onto the item
  7. The product is dried, checked, and finished

WET DIGITAL PRINTING

Textile wet digital processing can be thought of having three stages:
  1. Pretreatment (or preparation)
  2. Coloration (printing)
  3. Finishing is the narrow sense is the final step in the fabric manufacturing process. Finishing completes the fabric’s performance and gives it special functional properties including the final “touch”. The steamed fabric is subsequently washed and dried.

PIGMENT DIGITAL PRINTING

Design selection and conceptualization is that the initial and most vital process before digital printing on textile substrates. Fabric is printed by digital printers with the look prepared on a computer using the inkjet-based method of printing colorants onto fabric. First, the sketch is hand-drawn, software (CAD) sketch of styles are utilized and edited using various tools available in software like CorelDraw and Adobe photoshop. The files obtained are utilized on digital printing machines to print the look on to fabrics. The printing involves feeding the material through the printer employing a feed roller followed by the appliance of ink on the fabric’s surface within the kind of thousands of little droplets. The material is then had a heat chamber to cure the ink. The advancements introduced in digital printing machines involve the installation of special transport systems that enable printing on knitted and stretch fabrics.

SUBLIMATION PRINTING

After you have chosen your design, you should use a sublimation printer to print it out onto the special paper. The design is then printed onto the fabric by applying pressure and putting it into the oven. You will have to use a transfer paper (sublimation paper) so that the design transfers onto the fabric. Bringing the ink and the fabric together, the ink is embedded and therefore will remain more vibrant for longer (in comparison to other printing processes). The heat in the press or the oven opens the fabric’s pores up, whilst the pressure that’s put onto the fabric cools the ink down – turning it into a solid form. The press can then be released and the paper gently taken off of the shirt or mug (or whatever object that you have used).

DTG

Digital Garment printing can be a solution for small quantities, hasty needs, and it can also be a source of exclusive products that are not easily replicated.
Assignment: TAKING CUSTOMER ART AND PUTTING IT ON THE GARMENT
Equipment: graphics and photo editing software, garment pretreater, heat press, digital garment printer, conveyor dryer.
DTG process is divided over four steps:

  1. Prepare Artwork
  2. Prepare Garment
  3. Printing
  4. Drying and final quality inspection.
